When do registrations open?
We usually open registrations in November. Keep checking our website and Facebook page for announcements.
What is the criteria of admission?
Candidates are shortlisted purely based on merit. To a certain extent, selection also depends on their application form and the number of seats available in the class they are applying for.
What are the chances of my child getting an admission into EBS?
Admission in EBS is extremely competitive due to high volume of applications. The applicants per seat ratio is extremely high, therefore we advise you to apply as soon as the registrations open.
Are siblings guaranteed admissions?
There is no way to guarantee admissions in EBS except merit. No special consideration is given to siblings.
Do we have any discount in admission fee for siblings?
Yes we offer Rs. 10,000 discount in admission fee for second/third/fourth child and onwards.
Do you take admissions in all classes?
We accept admissions from Discoverers (Montessori) to Class 9 (O Levels). Please send us an email or call on the school number to discuss your case with the Admissions Manager.
Can we visit the school to submit our application?
It is highly encouraged to submit application online. However, if there is an issue, you can call on the school number and take appointment with the Admissions Manager. Please note that the admissions department will not entertain you without an appointment.
Can I reschedule test/interview?
Rescheduling is only possible in case of an emergency. You are required to inform the admissions department prior to the test. However, we cannot guarantee another interview/test date due to the high volume of applications.
How is Education Bay School different from other schools?
Apart from quality education and excellent O Level results, Education Bay School gives offers a Holistic curriculum that puts special emphasis on societal, cultural, and moral values and the understanding of Islam as a complete code of life. We believe the school should be the place where a child learns to create a balance between ‘Dunya & Akhira’ rather than having him go to a separate person or a different institution for that purpose. With this in mind, we start Nazira of the Holy Quran from Explorers and children complete the course by Class VII. We teach Arabic as a language and offer segregated classes for girls and boys from secondary onwards. Every child at EBS gets the opportunity to read the complete translation of the Holy Quran. Additionally, at EBS we do not encourage unislamic practices and events.
Does the school lay special emphasis on extracurricular along with education?
Yes, we believe imparting education goes hand in hand with providing opportunities for physical and mental wellbeing. Our campus is designed keeping in mind the absolute need for physical excursion. We make sure that children participate in different competitions and events. We also have one of the best coaches for football, basketball and Taekwondo!
Is this an Islamic school?
We believe in developing a generation of balanced, grounded and conscientious young men and women with a strong faith. The school emphasizes on moral and spiritual guidance.
